R&D Engineer (PU/PVC) – Premier R&D Engineer Job Ayutthaya

As an R&D Engineer (PU/PVC), your primary responsibility will include designing product prototypes, selecting raw materials, and providing expert technical support for material development. Expertise in PU and PVC materials is essential.

Responsibilities for this R&D Engineer Job Ayutthaya

• Design and develop product prototypes according to customer specifications, including selection of raw materials and suitable production processes
• Support prototype development activities such as testing, evaluation, and data analysis to meet project requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to support material development and process improvement
• Liaise with customers on technical matters related to product development and specifications
• Prepare technical documents, test reports, and related R&D records
• Able to travel overseas for project-related activities or technical visits, when required
• Perform other tasks related to R&D activities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Textile Technology, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in product R&D (experience in automotive industry will be an advantage)
• Must have knowledge of PU and PVC carpet and fabric products
• Knowledge of fibers, polymers, or synthetic materials
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001, IATF16949, and APQP
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work well with others and coordinate with related departments
• Able to communicate in English (spoken and written)

Location: Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya
Working Hour: Mon-Fri, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
