Responsibilities for this Procurement Manager Job Ayutthaya

• Prepare and manage the procurement department’s budget and monitor spending within the approved authority limits
• Collaborate with internal departments to define product and service specifications and standards required for procurement
• Review and verify information of new suppliers to support the vendor selection process
• Provide guidance on price comparisons and lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain the most suitable pricing and terms
• Oversee and monitor monthly and annual supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plans for suppliers
• Manage and implement supplier audit plans according to the annual supplier development program
• Ensure proper management of assets belonging to suppliers and external service providers in accordance with company procedures
• Review and approve the closure of outstanding purchase orders in accordance with established procedures
• Review supplier contracts or agreements and ensure all necessary documents are obtained for vendor registration
• Approve purchase requests and procurement orders in accordance with company policies and authority limits
• Follow up on supplier deliveries and coordinate solutions in case of delivery issues or product-related problems
• Analyze product price trends (increase or decrease) to support future procurement planning
• Participate in interviewing and selecting suitable candidates for positions within the procurement department
• Set departmental goals, monitor performance, evaluate results, and develop procurement team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Experience managing supplier evaluation and supplier development programs
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and purchasing policies
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal departments and external suppliers
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze cost trends, and support strategic procurement planning

Location: Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya
Working Hour: Mon-Fri, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
